Private Guided Tour and Lunch at the King’s Inns, Henrietta Street, Dublin, 19th September 2018
We had a most successful and enjoyable visit to the King’s Inns, Dublin,
on Wednesday 19th September 2018. Storm Aileen did its best to disrupt the day but it only manage to delay the Enterprise Train by 10 minutes near Malahide!
We arrived at the Gandon designed King’s Inns to be greeted with coffee and scrumptious home made biscuits. The wind was very strong and indeed, sadly, 2 trees were blown down in the grounds of the Inns during our visit.
Mary Griffin, the delightful and very knowledgeable Under Treasurer and CEO of the King’s Inns, then took us on an fascinating guided tour which included the hallowed ground of the Library AND her own office!
A most enjoyable Lunch was then served in The Bencher’s Room by Claire Hanley’s Team.
The journey home was not as simple as the journey down but, in spite of a few delays
due to branches on the line, we all arrived back to our respective homes safely!
I/We wish to have lunch at 4 Vicars Restaurant:
